What is it?
Atoms is a fun, turn-based multiplayer game based on explosions and chain reactions. Its a remake of a classic Amiga game by Tom Kuhn.
Players take turns placing atoms on a board, causing explosions and chain reactions which convert enemy atoms to their own colour. The object of the game is to wipe out the opponent’s atoms.
It supports from 1-4 players, these can be a mixture of human and computer players.
How to play
Different squares on the grid can hold different amounts of atoms. When squares have too many atoms placed in them they will explode and take over neighbouring squares. Players can only place atoms on empty squares or squares containing atoms of their own colour.
- Corner squares can hold only one atom before exploding.
- Side squares can hold only two atoms before exploding.
- Middle squares can hold three atoms before exploding.
